Open positions in the Education Sector:

1 Scholarship Support Assistant:

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

This is a full-time job offer (meaning 40 hours of work per week) for two years with the possibility of an extension of your contract. As a scholarship support assistant, you will be required to work with the education program and help prepare the documents for students applying for different scholarships. Along with this, you will also be responsible for making sure that students applying for scholarships are following the state guidelines for their visa and tax-related documents.

To be eligible to apply for the job, all candidates must have a high school diploma along with at least four years of work experience in this field, or have a total of four years of related work experience and post-secondary education.

This job also requires the applicants to be proficient in the English language and possess the skills to easily work with basic applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.

2 Executive Assistant to the Vice President

Location: Honolulu, District of Columbia

Location: Washington, District of Columbia

The job position for a project coordinator is a full-time job offer. As a project coordinator, you will be required to initiate and publish projects that highlight various American-Asian matters.

Not only will you be required to carry out research from different areas for various projects, but you will also be responsible for the publication of these projects on the EWCW website, EWCW’s social media accounts, and various other platforms.

4 Guest Service Agent

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

This is a full-time job position, which means working a total of 40 hours a week between the timings of 3:00 pm to 12:00 am each day. As a guest service agent, your duties will consist of processing the guest registrations, and room reservations, ensuring all dues have been paid by guests, and generating statistical revenue reports whenever necessary.

Since this is a customer service job, you must be able to communicate effectively with people and cater to their needs to ensure maximum customer satisfaction at all times. One of the main requirements of this job is to listen to customers’ issues and address all their problems (preferably independently of the housing reservations coordinator whenever possible).

Applicants need a minimum of a high school diploma along with at least two years of work experience in customer service. You should also be able to use general software applications like MS Office suite and handle all the different office machines and equipment.

This job is a full-time job position, offered with a two years long contract. As an enterprise applications business analyst, you will be responsible for various donors and alumni operations. This includes creating and designing import/export data reports for stakeholders, processing donations, managing various software development projects, and communicating with alumni and donors.

The goal is to sustain their relationships beyond borders and to raise awareness as well as tremendous support for the East-West Center. This will be done through annual events and activities. 10 Research Fellow (Political Economy)

The position of a full-time fellow is offered by the research department in the East-West Center. The fellow is supposed to conduct a scholarly research study and get it published.
