Uvwie L.G.A Of Delta State Is Hosting A “Keke Race To Fame” Tournament

Have you ever wondered how the government of Nigeria can help the keke riders aside not removing fuel subsidy? They would struggle all day, almost 365 days, come rain come shine, just to meet their daily needs.

In my subsequent encounters and discussion with tricycle riders who are popularly known in most part of Nigeria as ‘pyles‘ , I found that a lot of them are either doing business with tricycles loaned from individuals who require them to do check and balancing every week. Some of these ‘pyle‘ are equally graduates who have one of two business idea but due to lack of capital or otherwise, had no other choice than to hit the road with the famous transport business of ‘keke riding‘.

With a sole purpose of helping and appreciating the hustling spirit of young Deltans, the Uvwie Local Government of Delta State in partnership with Finarex paints has put up an Uvwie Charity Ride Project (U-CRIP) and is hosting a one of a kind tricycle race tagged “Keke Race To Fame“

The event is quite enticing as it is being sponsored by big brands such as Bliz Affairs, Joemarine Institute, Praise Liberty, Edy-Bo, DBS and a host of other. Winner of the race will get jaw-dropping prizes, while runners up will get whopping cash prizes and consolation prizes.

1st position gets a Brand new KEKE

2nd position gets 100,000 Naira

3rd position gets 80,000 Naira

4th position gets 60,000 Naira

5th position gets 40,000 Naira

6th position gets 20,000 Naira

How do I join the “Race to Fame?”

Becoming part of ‘Keke Race To Fame’ is quite simple, all you have to do is become a registered competitor by making a mandatory payment of 1,500 Naira.
