About a couple of months ago, MTN introduced an unlimited daily data plan for a cost of only ₦150. It happened that not everybody could use the unlimited daily plan because eligibility was a requirement.
The leading telecommunication network, MTN ‘every where you go’ has brought a new offer where you can now buy data plans at a cheaper rate and this is for all MTN users.
According to the most recent report by Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), more people are subscribing to Glo network daily and this is due to the fact that Glo offers a cheap data plan.
I believe this move by MTN, is part of market strategy to bring back its customers that they have been loosing to their rival Glo.

SMS 106 to 131 for 1.3GB data bundle at ₦1,000 for 30 days
SMS 110 to 131 for 3.75GB data bundle at ₦2,000 for 30 days

For the now, no one is sure if this is going to last permanently or its just another MTN promo. MTN has been known for canceling such great bundle plans, so who knows if this one will even go before we know it.
However, I know this is a move by the great telecom giant to stay ahead of the competition.
