Last month in China, the Samsung Galaxy J3 was announced and report says that the phone will get to US early 2016.
For those who don’t know, the Galaxy J3 features 5 -inch Super AMOLED HD screen and Snapdragon quad-core 410 processor. For the US variant, it will come with 1.5GB RAM, 16GB onboard memory, LTE connectivity, and 2600mAh battery.
According to Venture Beat, Sprint and AT&T will be offering the Galaxy J3. The phone is to be offered on contract by the two carriers, but it can also be take on prepay through AT&T’s Cricket and Sprint’s Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile. The price tag for the phone has not yet been unveiled for the US carriers, but we know it won’t be expensive.
The Galaxy J3 will be configured with a 5MP/2MP camera instead of the J3’s initial 8MP/5MP configuration. Although the initial J3 gets Android Lollipop pre-installed, it is possible that the US variant will come out of the box with Marshmallow
