California Hospital Held Hostage By Ha*kers

For about a week now the computers in one of Los Angeles hospitals have been forced to stop functioning. It is believed to be a ransom-ware that might have crept into the internal network.

Medical devices have been thrown offline while patients were transferred to other hospitals.

Report says this is a hand work of some ha*kers who left a request asking for the sum of $3.6 million to restore things back to normal.

ATTACKERS ASKED FOR MORE THAN $3.6 MILLION TO DECRYPT THE SYSTEM

FBI suggest victims should just pay up the required sum as this is not the first time neither will it be the last time such thing is happening.

In time past, there have been cases of attack on public institutions like public schools and even the police department.

Here’s my opinion:

“To all you ha*kers, if you’re looking for where to practice your new found skills, please try some where else. How cruel it is to hack the network system of a hospital where life could be at stake.”
