1. Standard/Mini Sim (15 x 25mm)

The Standard sim card size is a full-size sim card, measuring 15mm x 25mm, it is considered as the largest sim card size available. 2. Micro Sim (12 x 15mm)

The Micro-Sim card size is pretty much smaller than the Standard Sim card size. With a measurement of 15mm x 12mm, the Micro-Sim is a better fit for compact smartphones.

Despite the fact that the Micro-Sim is an ideal fit into compact smartphones, some smartphone manufacturers (including Apple) still weren’t satisfied and needed something even smaller. Hence the Nano-Sim was introduced.

3. Nano Sim (8.8 x 12.3mm)

Measuring 8.8mm x 12.3mm, the Nano-Sim card size is a preferable sim card size used by a couple of smartphone manufacturers due to the fact that it gives extra space in phone hardware.
